Purchase Terms
This house will sell for $164,000, plus any other items you wish to include in the For Sale page. We will of course consider offers.
If you would like to purchase the house, contact me. I will send you a standard real estate purchase agreement, and I will set up an escrow account with Oklahoma Abstract Company of Lawton:
You will then just need to sign and return the purchase agreement with a check for $1500 to the escrow company (this is a down payment or earnest money - however you wish to consider it, and it protects you and me), and then I will arrange for an inspection, or allow you to find an inspector of your own. Once your morgage company approves your loan, and everything is acceptable and any problems found in the inspection are corrected, then you pick when you want to move in! We can then arrange the closing for a that day or the day before, and this wonderful house is yours.
I know real estate agents make you sign lots and lots of forms - I think they do this to try to justify the extreemly high fees they charge for their little effort - but none of this is neccessary.
